The Opening Doors project is a developing partnership between Community Campus '87 and Hartlepool Revival.

The project is an innovative approach to enabling young and other socially and economically disadvantaged people to gain valuable vocational and employability skills. Focusing on working in partnership with other agencies in the town the scheme provides a programme of on site construction based opportunities working to renovate properties in the Hartlepool area. Properties have so far included houses and community buildings. The long term aim of the partnership is to develop a Hartlepool based social enterprise that seeks to continue this activity coupled with providing a construction and building maintenance service for local organisations in the VCS, Public and private sectors.
