Community Campus, working in partnership with Middlesbrough Borough Council, delivers a project aimed at engaging with homeless young people to enhance their employability, moving them closer to the world or work.

Criteria

• Under 25 years at the time of registration
• Out of work at the time of registration
• Homeless or in temporary accommodation at the time of registration
• Are not engaged with Jobcentre Plus contracted provision or has not been so in the last 3 months prior to registration
• Is resident in specific ward (contact Mel Boyce for list of wards)

The project can offer:

• Confidence building
• Group and one to one work
• Pre-tenancy training
• Job search (CV, interview techniques, application form support)
• Life skills and help with housing issues
• Signposting to other projects
