The Heaven Project

As part of the organisational development we secured resources in 1999/2000 to purchase a former nightclub known as Heaven in central Stockton. The nightclub which had been closed for several years was in a state of dilapidation. The nightclub has been renovated over the last 24 months.

A major effort has been focused on developing the building. The building now houses our support services, youth project, computer room, Key Skills Project and the overall management and administration for the organisation. The building will provide a stable base for the development of the organisation and its projects over the next decade.

It enables the organisation to deliver a holistic package of services to growing numbers of young people under one roof. Owning the building expands our capital base, strengthening the financial base of the organisation and creating a structure for long term planning and investment in projects that we are managing and developing.
