HOT is the name of an initiative taken by young homeless people and young people who have experienced homelessness who want to use their experiences to help raise awareness of Homelessness in Teesside, and particularly amongst young people, to aim to work with key stakeholders, including homeless sections, and housing providers to influence how they deliver their services.
The group also seeks to campaign and lobby local and central government to help to improve the services and opportunities available to help to reduce the incidents of youth homelessness in Teesside and further afield.
The group, who are all volunteers, meet on a regular basis and receive some support from Community Campus '87 and Stockton Borough Council.
